Pray for the people of Bolivia and for your prayer partner.
Prepare: Be sure to get some rest this weekend. Go to bed at a decent hour. Spend and hour of quiet just reading the Bible and prayer and perhaps journalling. If you have longer than that would you consider spending it with God and putting aside some of your normal for a little bit?
Not sure if any one country is any better or worse off than another because of the darkness in it. What a compelling video from a prayerful warrior in Bolivia; the darkness, the poverty, the corruption, the idolatry! How fortunate we are to live in a country that has no physical barrier to prevent us from hearing and knowing God's truth! But, then again, how unfortunate it is that we do not use our fortune to freely promote and preach God's word at will. How easy it is or can be to misunderstand our freedom to spread the Good News and be misguided by the deception of the world. I pray that God will continue to convict me of the insecurities in me. I pray that God will continually provide me the strength and courage to step out of my comfort zone. I pray that God will use me as His instrument to proclaim the Good News in grace, love and truth. I pray that this comment will be an encouragement to all who read it. May the Lord give each of us the knowledge and wisdom to speak His word everyday. In doing so, (whether in good or bad times) we will have our faith strengthened and in turn give Him the glory! Amen.
